Snelling Company 21 point Forced Air Furnace Tune-up
- Check Thermostat. Make sure all functions work, time and day are correct.
- Replace air filter (1’’) 4” additional charge
- Prepare humidifier for winter operation (if applicable)
- Clean compartment. Look for rust or filings from wear, check connections.
- Clean burner compartment.
- Check burner/flame condition.
- Check igniter condition.
- Clean flame sensor/pilot assembly.
- Check gas pressure.
- Check blower wheel condition
- Check input voltage.
- Check low voltage transformer output.
- Check blower motor amp draw.
- Check electrical safety controls.
- Check and secure all electrical connections.
- Check condensate drain line.
- Check temperature rise against manufacturer’s specifications.
- Check and clear pressure switch tube (if applicable)
- Inspect heat exchanger.
- Check condition of intake and exhaust venting.
- Carbon monoxide test of combustion.
